Overwhelmed or Stressed

When we become overwhelmed or stressed, we can put more importance or weight on problems and challenges in our lives. Taking a moment to reassess a situation will help us to put it in its proper perspective. When we do, we often find that the obstacles in front of us aren’t really so big, after all.

Putting things into perspective will eliminate stress and anxiety. The next time you are overwhelmed, take a few moment to relax and honestly assess the issue. Can it be overcome? Are you giving it more importance than it deserves? When you realize that the problems and challenges you face are temporary, you are better able to face them and move forward. It also saves you from needless stress and worry, which only compound your problems! The silver lining is that when you put things into their proper perspective, you free yourself to address the solution, rather than the problem.

Always remember that we have a choice in how we address life. We have a choice whether to see our glass half empty or half full.
